Right Click Not Working in Windows

Recently, I faced a problem that the right cllick of the mouse was not working in windows explorer.

It really scared the shit out of me and if you are watching this post then maybe out of you also.

And if not then maybe you will need the solution someday as it is seen to be a very common problem
in Windows 8.1, 8, 10.

Now coming to the solution:

  • Search for regedit in the search and hkt enter.
  • Expand HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT folder.
  • Now expand the Directory folder.
  • Expand background.
  • Expand shellx.
  • Expand ContextMenuHandlers.
  • Now just delete all the folders in there except two namely, New and Work Folders.

Voila!!!

Your PC has become faster and that scary problem which gave me the shit out to format my PC is gone.
